Belgian architect Jacques Gillet designed the Sculpture House in Liege in 1967-68 in collaboration with the sculptor Félix Roulin and engineer Rene Greisch.
Project synthesised architecture and art, and was a reaction against the contemporary standardisation of architectural forms. It was constructed from a metal mesh, onto which a fast-setting concrete was sprayed to create a unique sculptural shell.
