House of the Day: Shipping Container House by Studio H:T

This unusual house – completed in Colorado in 2010 – is comprised of two shipping containers either side of a taller central living space.
The property was designed to challenge the typical requirements of living spaces – focusing on efficiency both in terms of the use of the available space, and the house’s environmental impact.
