House of the Day: Tsubomi House by FLAT HOUSE

This house, built in Tokyo in 2010, is arranged across a number of mezzanines which intersect the space.

Constructed on a small plot, the wall-less levels were designed to maximise the sense of openness and create distinct areas within a limited space.
