New York-based artist Calvin Seibert creates spectacular Modernist sandcastles using only a paint bucket and homemade plastic trowels.
Taking childhood inspiration from Eero Saarinen’s TWA terminal at JFK airport, Seibert developed a love of swooping architectural forms, which he began to explore using sand. Having honed his craft over the last five decades, he now creates spectacular Modernist structures, many of which take days to create.
