The first episode of the BBC Four documentary series ‘The Brits Who Built The Modern World‘ airs tonight at 9pm.
The three-part series, which inspired the RIBA exhibition and programme of events, looks at how British architecture developed globally from the 1970s onwards. It concentrates on a group of British architects led by Richard Rogers, Norman Foster and Nicholas Grimshaw.
The first episode, The Freedom of the Future, looks at evolutionary projects from the 1960s and 70s.
