House of the Day: Ban House by Zhang Dongguang + Liu Wenjuan

Built in the Chinese city of Weinan, in the Shaanxi province, this home for a young couple was completed in 2013.
Built on a small site behind a more traditional property, it draws upon the existing urban fabric of the village externally, allowing the interiors to be more playful and experimental.
